Halloween: The Big Day at CIG

Just like every year at Halloween, the sixth grade students were responsible for creating an authentic haunted house for their peers at the school- an activity which was prepared in Theatre class. This year monsters came to life in the gym- an area which was transformed into a path taking us from an enchanted forest to a psychiatric hospital, passing through a cemetery where even the dead could not lay still to the most unsettling toy room, until the land of nightmares where the visitors´ minds gave life to the most terrifying characters.

The magnificent work, creativity, and effort of the actors  to ensure their classmates were thoroughly scared during this terrifying morning is truly noteworthy.

In the afternoon, a face-painting workshop transformed students into authentic monsters. Sixth graders and first of ESO students performed in a flute concert prepared in Music class and the choir filled the halls with their marvellous voices.

In the kitchen, wonderful treats were prepared for the occasion and to end the party, all of the primary students gave life to the song “This is Halloween” with an exciting flashmob.
