At our school, we believe it is important that our students have a commitment to and relationship with our natural surroundings. This is why we learn about the environment in a global and interdisciplinary way, aiming to foster a greater commitment to protecting and improving the environment and using sustainable natural resources.
We develop many environmental projects including composting, recycling, learning about noise pollution, optimizing consumption, etc. throughout the school year, working in conjunction with other institutions devoted to environmental protection (CSIC, UGR, EMASAGRA…).
Our school garden is one way of strengthening this concern for the environment, and here we cover one important objective at the school: allowing students to have direct contact with nature and providing them with activities to learn about agriculture, a topic which is new and exciting for children raised in urban environments.
