At our school (and in the rest of society), there are many types of families in different family situations. Our students are really interested in learning about and asking questions about topics that they hear adults talking about; students love bringing outside life into the school as much as possible.
Last week, we were lucky enough to have a visit from a mom and her children in Primary. Firsthand, they taught us what it means to be an adoptive family. They spoke about many things and our students asked lots of questions, but among all of this, the message was clear- an adoptive family is a family where love, affection and care is given for the rest of their lives- just like in any other family 🙂
