At CIG we began planting trees for our very own greenbelt. Maite, the mother of Miguel in Grade 2, came to the school to explain to our students what her job consists of. She is a forestry engineer and she delighted students with an interesting talk on the importance of forests on our planet. To top it off, the students in this class then planted their very own pine tree or a cork oak in the school garden. We hope they grow big and strong like our students. Thank you Maite for making all of these children so happy. It was a pleasure having you with us!
